The Kündig Group is constantly working to expand and improve its services and offers. In order to further improve our quality, we undergo audits on a regular basis. Because of this, Kündig Nahrungsmittel GmbH & Co. KG is now also FSSC 22'000 certified.
The FSSC 22000 Food Safety System Certification is fully recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) and is based on existing ISO Standards. It provides a framework for effectively managing our organization’s food safety responsibilities.
The FSSC 22000 combines the requirements of the ISO 22000 food safety management systems, with pre-emptive programs from the series of technical specifications (ISO / TS 22002, PAS 221, NTA 8059), as well as a number of additional requirements. For this reason, FSSC 22000 is recognised by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) as an equivalent to other approved procedures such as the International Featured Standard and the British Retail Consortium. This ensures a broadly acceptance of the certification by all those involved in the food production chain.
A further advantage the FSSC 22000 has, for example, over the IFS is that the FSSC is based on an ISO standard and is that it is managed by a third party, eliminating conflicts of interest. This ensures an independent procedure.
Our certification demonstrates that our company has a robust Food Safety Management System in place that meets the requirements of customers and consumers.
