With the founding of Kündig Bio Agrarprodukte GmbH, the Kündig Group expands its trading competence in the field of organic food raw materials. Our new Berlin team is made up of experienced specialists in the field of organic produce. Kündig, as a traditional, Zurich-based family business, which has been active in the grain trade for almost 100 years, is thus expanding its oldest business, consistently further developing its organic expertise in terms of grain, legumes and oilseeds.
The Kündig Group has been involved in the organic field for more than 40 years. As a co-founder and promoter of the certification organization Biokultura, Kündig was instrumental in the establishment of biological standards in Hungary in the 1970s. Since then, our expertise when it comes to organic products has been expanded continuously. Today, more than half of the products traded by the Kündig Group are organically grown. In line with this tradition, founding the Kündig Bio Agrarprodukte GmbH (Berlin) is another step towards even more sustainability. Kündig consistently focuses on the quality and traceability of their products.
All traded organic cereals, legumes and oilseeds can be traced back to their site of production with 100 percent accuracy. Famers are regularly monitored for compliance with organic directives and social standards. Each customer is notified of the origin of the produce they have purchased upon delivery at the very latest. With this transparency, Kündig guarantees the highest quality and safety for these products.
