Kündig Nahrungsmittel GmbH & Co. KG is one of Europe’s most advanced processing centre for dried vegetables, herbs, spices, mushrooms and precooked legumes. Construction of the plant commenced in 1991, the year in which the BGM Nahrungsmittel GmbH & Co. KG was founded. Acquisition by the Kündig Group in 2006. BGM Nahrungsmittel GmbH & Co. KG was renamed into Kündig Nahrungsmittel GmbH & Co. KG. in 2007.

Specialized as a processing center, Kündig Nahrungsmittel GmbH & Co. KG offers a wide range of cleaning possibilities for raw produce. Depending on the customer’s desire, products can be processed into granulates or milled into powder.

Each year, the approximately 80 employees at the Ritschenhausen/Thüringen plant process over 8000 tons of dried vegetables, herbs and spices, mushrooms and naturally grown pharmaceutical raw goods.

For the treatment of stocks, there are a number of possibilities such as CO2 pressurized disinfestation, PH3 gassing and BIOSTERIL degermination. All of these processing methods are also available on a contract basis.
